For what ever reason my computer gives me issues if I use to many pictures at once, and its a good comp.

I KNOW THE FEEL! My iPhone is 2 years old. My laptop is 4 years old. The iPhone is faster.
Problem is that the desktop operating systems (both Mac and Windows) have become so bloated. The mobile ones are optimized and don't turn to utter crap after a while. I could wipe my hard drive and install from scratch but I'm too lazy...
